Kings Cliffe Airfield Museum - Summer Open Day 2026

We returned to RAF Kings Cliffe Airfield Museum's Summer Open Day after a years absence - what an amazing day. With glorious weather, an array of different stalls and exhibits, and a bumper crowd we were certainly all kept on our toes manning the 384th Bombardment Group Museum exhibit.

It's always fascinating speaking with members of the public at these events - just when we think we've seen everyone and heard everything, we always get surprised. Lots of new visitors to see us which is super encouraging as we develop our own open days, we hope to see some of these people at our own site in the near future. And as ever, quite a few new stories told about Grafton Underwood, which has given us something to think about - more on that in the future.

All in all an amazing day in support of our good friends at RAF Kings Cliffe Museum - great to see all their hard work being recognised.
