On Friday 24th July, it was time for our third road trip to the superb IWM Duxford Flying Say - The American's. Duxford is less than an hour from Grafton Underwood, and is the premier event in the UK showcasing the American Air Force both of the past, and present day.

The event gives the Museum the opportunity to speak to a 'captive' audience - the theme alone means everyone on site on this day has an interest in the American influence in our region. We get to speak to people from all over the UK and showcase what our Museum project is all about, plus we now speak with more and more return visitors both local to us, and from further afield, where we can give updates on the project.

Whilst it is a long and tiring day, it's always a great event for us - we look forward to 2027!
